We have worked hard to make our unique residential design, our philosophy toward service, and our approach to quality care represent what we have learned is important to older adults and their families in our twenty-five years of service to them.

Older adults have helped us understand how much they value the independence and the privacy they find living in their own home.  That’s why we provide our residents “apartment homes” rather than “patient rooms” and why each resident who is part of our Community is provided support consistent with a formal, individual plan of services and care.

We also know that older adults value their freedom of choice as to how they live their life. As you tour our Community, we encourage you to watch for the ways that we respect and enhance our residents’ right of choice in so many aspects of our daily routine. You may see it expressed in the broad range of apartment homes’ selection available to you. Or perhaps in our Community’s Dining Menu that offers selections of entrees each and every day. Or in the absence of visiting hours so that residents, families, and friends can come and go as they choose.  Or even in our daylong schedule of resident and family activities.  Because it’s home.

As a society, we can be proud that we once created nursing homes in order that our elders were assured of access to the care that they needed.
